What a feast of fall footwear fashion!
How should you indulge in the hottest shoe styles when you have such an array of toe styles from which to choose?
You might choose the perfect shoe design essential—the peep toe shoe. Or you might want to treat yourself to fall’s fashionable, trendy round toe shoes. Just think about taking your first steps into the transitional fall season with pointed toe shoes? Or should the closed toe pump be your classic choice?
Complete your fall wardrobe with a variety of different toe styles and silhouettes. Update your shoe wardrobe to meet your needs and your comfort level. When you talk about fall shoes, you have to talk about the shoe swagger that both the heel height and the toe silhouette will bring to your fabulosity.
The Closed Toe: Very shows this Love label, pleated front, platform shoe in coral and gray—one of the hottest color combinations for fall. The 4.5 inch heel height will elevate your fashion status to a whole new stratosphere.

The Peep Toe: There’s a definite fashion buzz that continues about the peep toe shoe. During the summer, it was coupled with toe-cleavage. How decadent!
Retailer Aldo carries this 4” high heel in leather versatility. This peep-toe platform has a metallic heel with one of fall’s favorite color combinations—black, brown, and red.

The Pointed Toe: Avant garde styling exemplified by this Pollini pointed toe pump with a Lucite heel is the epitome of all things chic.

The Round Toe: One of the most popular fall 2012 shoe trends is part of the season’s menswear influence. This autumn, it threatens to replace the ubiquitous ballet flat. The beauty of the smoking slipper is that it’s being shown at every conceivable price point—from Neiman Marcus to the Gap. Stubbs & Wootton Palm Beach is showing this hound bow skimmer in its fall shoe preview.

The Cap-Toe: Brogues are another major footwear trend that capitalizes on the menswear influence. Glamcheck defines the brogue as “…a formation of shoe style with multiple leather pieces, decorative perforations at the edges and all laced up”. Glamcheck features many of these styles on their site. This Dima Neu wedge brogue is cap-toed, and one of my fall 2012 favorites.

Toe Shoes: And if all else fails…just try some of Alexander McQueen’s Armadillo “toe shoes”. Just kidding…really just kidding! These ultra-fashionable, dynamite diva shoes are 12′ high and were successfully used in the video clip for Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’. Whatta toe-tapping feat!
