Am I the last one on the fashion planet to hear about Bucketfeet? Well if I’m not, then listen to this marvelous business venture combining fashion, footwear, and graphic design artistry.

Bucketfeet’s mission is to find a different artist to design every shoe they produce. Bucketfeet connects with talented artists and gives them a platform to showcase their creative talent. Their collaborations range from working with street artist in Bogota to graphic designers in Los Angeles.

Here are some of the shoe design examples featured on the Bucketfeet site.

Jayson. Atienza, New York, NY. Jayson’s self-titled concept is a beautiful pattern that is unlike any other that Bucketfeet carries. These canvas shoes get noticed and are a perfect, unique addition to a casual outfit. Women’s canvas lace-ups. $68.

Artist Archerone, Los Angeles, CA. Archer’s tribal pattern adds the perfect twist to a black canvas lace-up. Men can wear these with any single color pant or shorts to add creative and unique detail to any style. $68.

Artist Marcelo “Ment”, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The colorful design on this men’s canvas slip-on is very energetic. In the words of the artist, “I incorporated a style I use alot on the street. This pattern utilizes positive words and is a playful take on the city’s countless favelas.” $65.

Artist Suiko from Hiroshima, Japan. Suiko’s “Earth” work strikes a beautiful, delicate balance between earth green, water blue, and sky white. The detail on this canvas slip-on is really spectacular and the white stitching provides the perfect contrast and break in the pattern. $68.
